For side entry agitator, the stirringapparatus is installed on the side wall of the cylinder. Axial flowagitators are usually adopted, mostly, propeller agitators; Itwill achieve better effect than other types of agitators when thepower consumption is the same. Power consumption of a side-entryagitator is only 1/3-2/3 that of a top-entering agitator; andits cost is only 1/4-1/3 that of a top-entering agitator. Itsrotational speed is within 200r-750r/min.Side entry agitator is especiallyapplicable to large storages tanks,high speed and power is bigger.It will produce favorable stirring effects with low powerconsumption.
